EDINBURGH
Beth Ann Dewey, 66 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at her residence. She was born August 25, 1958 in Beech Grove, Indiana. She was the daughter of Thomas Hamilton and Carolyn A. (Golder) Wright.
She is survived by her mother, step-father, John Wright of Edinburgh, Indiana, daughters, Melissa (Adam) Phillips of Edinburgh, Indiana and Miranda Marple of Edinburgh, Indiana, grandchildren, Jamey Phillips and Noah Phillips, cousin and caregiver, Dawn Kellar of Edinburgh, Indiana, brother, Thomas Hamilton of South Carolina, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father.
After graduating from high school, Beth received her beautician license and then worked in a salon. She later attended IUPUI where she received an associate’s degree in business administration. She worked at IUPUI and Ivy Tech in the admissions office. Then she left there to be the caregiver for her daughter.
She enjoyed cooking for her family, taking them on vacation to the beach, decorating for the holidays, going to the casino, arts and crafts, and especially Lego designs.
Calling will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 6 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will conclude with a prayer by Chaplain Wayne Grumbling.
