INDIANAPOLIS — Columbus North went 1-2 against three ranked girls tennis teams in Saturday’s North Central Invitational.
The 16th-ranked Bull Dogs edged No. 20 Homestead 3-2 before falling to No. 17 Guerin Catholic and No. 12 Fort Wayne Carroll by 4-1 scores.
Aya Saad won all three of her matches in straight sets at No. 1 singles for North (11-5). Annabelle Sun and Nino Akalaya at No. 1 doubles and Grace Conner and Lizzie Bodart at No. 2 doubles won their matches against Homestead.
