The following closings have been announced for Memorial Day.
- Columbus City Hall is closed Monday.
- The Columbus City Utilities office will be closed Monday, reopening on Tuesday at 7 a.m. Customers with a problem with water or sewer service should call the business office at 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
- Bartholomew County offices and the courthouse are closed Monday.
- All Bartholomew County Solid Waste District facilities will be closed on Monday. The Bartholomew County Landfill, Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center, Commercial Cardboard route, and BCSWMD District Offices will reopen on Tuesday. For more, visit www.bcswmd.com.
- The Republic offices will be closed Monday to allow employees to enjoy the holiday with their families, reopening Tuesday at 8 a.m.
