OSGOOD — Trinity Lutheran tied the game in the top of the seventh, but Rising Sun pushed across a run in the bottom of the seventh Wednesday to hand the Cougars a 6-5 baseball loss in the opening round of the Class A Jac-Cen-Del Sectional.
Trinity (10-12) outhit the Shiners 7-5. Brody Brown and Bode Brooks combined on a five-hitter.
Brown went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. Nathan Finke went 2 for 4.
