Columbus Farmers Market — 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Columbus City Hall, 123 Washington St., Columbus. Enjoy several vendor and brunch options, as well as live music from Ruben Guthrie.

Summer Kick-Off Block Party and Mental Health Awareness Month Send-Off — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1023 Ninth St., Columbus. Will begin with a brief message from Mental Health Matters Project Manager Vachel Hudson on the importance of mental health. Several organizations will be available to offer resources and answer questions. Afterwards, members of the public are welcome to help themselves to a free barbeque and fun activities.

River Rat Tales — 3 to 4 p.m., Hope Branch Library, 635 Harrison St., Hope. Join Old River Rat Dan as he brings the 1800s Ohio River to life with fascinating tales of steamboats, river towns and adventures from a bygone era in this lively historical storytelling event.

ODDiversary — 4 to 10 p.m., Fourth Street, downtown Columbus, organized by the Office of Downtown Development, highlighting the downtown Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) district featuring touring bluegrass acts One Night Only and The Shiloh Band, free admission.
