INDIANAPOLIS – Bartholomew County Assessor Ginny Whipple was elected district vice president of the Association of Indiana Counties’ (AIC) Southeast District during the annual meeting in Jefferson County.
As district vice president, Whipple represents the elected county officials in the Southeast District of the state, which includes the following counties: Bartholomew, Brown, Clark, Dearborn, Decatur, Floyd, Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Ohio, Ripley, Scott, Switzerland, and Washington. There are six districts in the state. Whipple serves on the AIC’s board of directors, which determines policies and legislative goals for the association.
Dearborn County Councilmember, Liz Morris was elected district eresident during the meeting. The meeting also included a synopsis of the 2025 Indiana Legislative Session by AIC legislative staff.
