PLAINFIELD – Duke Energy has named Terry Garrison as its newest account executive in the south-central region of the company’s Indiana service territory. Garrison will be based in Columbus and will focus on managing relationships with some of the company’s largest customers in Bartholomew, Dearborn, Decatur, Jefferson and Ripley counties.
Garrison joined Duke Energy in 2011 as a control systems technician in Plainfield responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining electrical equipment at substations and power plants. Prior to assuming his new role, he served as an operations supervisor in Westfield, responsible for leading a team of 16 construction and maintenance professionals working to provide reliable and quality electric service for customers in central Indiana.
Garrison earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology at Indiana State University and a master of business administration (MBA) at Anderson University. He’s pursuing a professional certification in sustainability at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Terry and his wife, Kenyana, reside in Noblesville with their two sons, Antonio (age 14) and Elijah (age 8). He enjoys cooking, body building and nature walks.
