Wednesday is the deadline for nominations to be submitted for the 2025 Jack Cramer Ideals of Athletic Competition Award. The award is sponsored by the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department in memory of Jack Cramer, a former local athlete who died at the age of 33 in 1978.
The award is presented annually to a male and female senior high- through adult-aged athlete, coach or sports organizer who lives or works in Bartholomew County. Sarah Frasier and Steve Souder were last year’s winners.
