Taylor Swift undoubtedly is the most popular musical artist in the world today. The Park Theatre Civic Centre is bringing the next best thing to her at its iconic downtown North Vernon venue on Aug. 9 at 7:30 p.m.
Sarah Jessica and her entourage will perform “A Twist on Taylor,” a dazzling tribute to Taylor Swift that has captivated audiences from coast to coast, including in North Vernon. And like the previous two years when “A Twist on Taylor” came to the Park Theatre, a sellout is virtually guaranteed.
“We’ve already sold over 200 tickets with less than 100 left,” said Patti Yount, president of the Park Theatre’s board. “The rest of the tickets will be gone soon, so I advise people to get their tickets while they can.
Opening the show will be The Cherrys, a multi-genre pop group from Seymour.
Tickets, $25 for adults and $5 for 12 and under, can be purchased in advance at the Park Theatre box office, 25 N. Madison Ave. The box office is open 2 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Or call the box office at 812-346-0330 to make arrangements to reserve tickets.
