Hooks and Needles — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. The Hooks and Needles program is for all types of needle crafters to gather, create and socialize.
Juneteenth Family Reunion — 2 to 5 p.m., The LEX, 850 Tipton Lane, Columbus. Hosted by the NAACP, Paths to Success, Columbus Enrichment Program, Umoja, and BCPL and sponsored by Cummins, African American Pastors Alliance and the African American Foundation of Bartholomew County (AAF). This signature event will feature food, live music, games, and cultural celebration for the whole family.
Good Samaritan Food Pantry Annual Hog Roast — 3 to 7 p.m., Good Samaritan Food Pantry, 2250 N. State Highway 7, North Vernon. In addition to the barbecued pork, diners will enjoy various side dishes, drinks and desserts. Diners may browse through various crafters booths, bid on prizes at the silent auction and enjoy a mix of live music performances. A bouncy castle and other activities will be available for kids. Hog Stock 2025: A Day of Live Music & Cold Beer — 3 to 10 p.m., Hog Molly Brewing Co., 830 Depot St., Columbus. This family-friendly event will include live music from Pokey Valley, Blues Underfire, Big Skies, 3 Beards Strummin’ Band, and Cody Ikerd and the Sidewinders, and a full tap list along with a special Hogstock release, cider, NA beer, wine and non-alcoholic drink options, with proceeds benefitting The Arc of Bartholomew County. Recovery Café Columbus Butterfly Release — 4 to 6 p.m., Recovery Café Columbus, 1412 Sycamore St., Columbus. Butterflies will be released outside the café. Free and open to the public.
Juneteenth After-Party Celebration — 6 to 9 p.m., Forge on 4th, 418 Fourth St., Columbus. Hosted by Columbus Young Professionals of Color, bringing the community together for a vibrant night of music, dancing and networking.
VFW Comedy Show — 7:30 p.m., VFW, 215 N. National Road, Columbus. Hosted by Zach Ryan Sterling, the free show will include performances from Jennifer Plumm, Jeremy Seward and Ryan Hole.
Movies in the Park — 8 to 10 p.m., Mill Race Park, 50 Carl Miske Drive, Columbus. Watch “Wonka” in the park. Blankets and snacks are welcome.
