Eastern Bartholomew Water Corp. said a water main has been damaged just south and southwest of the Elizabethtown area.
Due to this damage, some customers are experiencing a water outage. Once service is restored, customers who lost water service will be under a boil water advisory until Tuesday July 1st at noon. Any water that is to be consumed or used for cooking purposes should be boiled for at least 5 minutes and cooled before consuming. For more information, call the water utility at 812-526-9777.
