Fair wraps up with livestock auction

The Bartholomew County 4-H Fair wrapped up its run Saturday with the annual fair livestock auction, in which 4-Hers sell their livestock.

The auction raised $267,900, down from $324,800 in 2024 when there were more exhibitors selling at the auction.

The total 4-Hers supported through the auction was 203, down fro 219 last year, fair officials said.

There were 93 registered bidders on Saturday, including 17 new buyers, and there were 86 buyers.
