Caitlyn Williams was named Bartholomew County 4-H Fair Queen and her twin sister Courtney was named second runner-up in a ceremony at Columbus North High School’s Judson Erne Auditorium. Caitlyn was named East’s homecoming queen and Courtney was named East’s prom queen earlier in the year.
2000
A Columbus grant proposal to construct McCullough’s Run Park was approved by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. The application was then sent to the National Park Service for final approval.
1975
Columbus High School’s Class of 1940 held its 35th class reunion at the Holiday Inn, with Class President Irven King welcoming 115 members. Vice President W. Marshall Boll was also in attendance.
