Brad Klosinski, a Six Sigma black belt for Cummins Inc. corporate administration, stepped up as the new volunteer coordinator of 2015’s Mill Race Marathon. Klosinski was previously the marathon’s internal communications coordinator.

2000

Camp Atterbury’s World War II-era barracks were part of the fictional Fort Dickson in a short film version of “The People with the Roses” by best-selling author Max Lucado. The film is a romantic drama set in 1942.

1975

U.S. Air Force Chaplain Curtis E. Ross of Columbus was promoted to the rank of Major at Peterson Field in Colorado. Ross graduated from Columbus High School in 1946.
