Mad Science with Professor Steve Community Fun Day — 1:30 to 3 p.m., Circle K Fieldhouse, 2380 25th St., Columbus. Professor Steve will present a “funducational” show, followed by games and experiments for everyone. Free.
Tween Game Time — 3:30 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join library staff for some laid-back fun as you play your way through the library’s collection of board, card and dice games. Game selection may vary.
Weld Together: Welding Basics — 5 to 6:30 p.m., Columbus Propeller, 4760 Ray Boll Blvd., Columbus. This 90-minute hands-on workshop is designed to spark interest in welding among women and girls, creating a welcoming space to explore the basics of the trade. Cost is $50.
