Two swimmers from Columbus competed for Franklin Regional Swim Team in the Kentucky Open Water State Championships.
Tristan Davis finished third in the boys 10-and-under 1K event in 18 minutes, 52 seconds. That was a time drop of 2:55 from last year’s race.
Elena Abney took 12th in the girls 10U 1K race in 23:14. Abney also swam on FRST’s girls 10U 1,200-meter relay team that finished 13th.
