Victoria Schwartz of Columbus and her horse, Ginger, took home the reserve grand champion award in the halter division of the Horse and Pony Western Halter Show at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fair. Seymour’s Montana Bearry took home the grand-champion title with her horse, Lilly.
2000
Dylan Wasmuth won the tie-breaker of the Bartholomew County 4-H Fair Mini Tractor Pull, with Jesse Hart taking second place and Emily Chodan coming in third.
1975
The Bartholomew County Historical Society opened a native crafts exhibition at its museum, which included candle makers, a blacksmith, wood carver, potters and leather workers. The exhibition was part of the 10-day Bartholomew County Freedom Festival.
