TAMPA, Fla. — The Columbus Express 08 team pulled out a 3-1 win against Lonestar SC from Texas Sunday in its final game of the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup.
Emilio Quintero scored two goals, and Markenson Paul added one for the Express, who finished with a 1-2 record in pool play.
The Express had fallen to Capital FC from Oregon 2-1 on a late goal Saturday. Parker Gribbins scored for the Express.
Friday, the Express opened play with a 2-1 loss to Ocean City United from New Jersey. Paul scored the goal for the Express.
