NORTH VERNON — Grace Oden won medalist honors with a 49 to lead Jennings County to a season-opening girls golf win against New Washington Monday at St. Anne’s.
The Panthers finished with a 219 team total. The Mustangs had only three golfers, one short of the number needed to score as a team.
Amilia Gresham carded a 51 for Jennings. Victoria Baez added a 58, Temprance Eggleston shot 61 and Shelby Klescht had a 64.
