NEW ALBANY — Jennings County opened its boys tennis season Thursday with a 4-1 loss at New Albany.
The win for the Panthers came at No. 1 singles, where Parker Bales topped Sam Seigel 6-4, 6-1.
Jennings’ Asher Morin fell to Tristan Beliles 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, an Colten Short lost to Cruz Anderson 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Ty Zohrlaut and Luke Napier fell to Benton Hamilton and Corbin Crone 4-6, 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles, and Lucius Stidham and Luke Clapp lost to Ethan Beliles and Cassius Hall 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
