NASHVILLE — Hauser won four matches in straight sets Thursday to claim a 4-1 boys tennis victory at Brown County.
James Oliver beat Jax Burt 7-6 (6), 6-0 at No. 1 singles, and Joel Bechtel topped Bryan Teague 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles for the Jets (2-0). Hauser’s Kam Blair and RJ Foster defeated Jack Keener and Nolan McFall 6-0, 6-1, and Graydon Kipls an Jacob Bell beat Audric Dunn and Jax Anderson 6-1, 6-1.
The win for the Eagles (0-2) came at No. 3 singles, where Nicklaus Arndt topped Brady Miller 7-6 (2), 6-1.
