Peggy Carney of Trafalgar was honored as a “Harrison Hero” at the Harrison College Columbus Campus for saving the life of an unresponsive infant by performing CPR. Carney’s honor was part of the college’s partnerships with local American Red Cross chapters and hospitals.

Columbus North Bulldog Booster Club held a tailgate party at North before the football game between North and East. Food was provided by Grindstone Charley’s.
1975
The Columbus Firemen’s Union collected a total of $380 during its “Fill the Boot” campaign to fight muscular dystrophy. The donations almost doubled 1974’s total of $195.
