Police say teen who went missing from Columbus East has been found safe

Columbus police say Gracie Marie Ogle has been located and was found safe.

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 15-year-old female who is believed to a runaway, reported missing on Aug. 18.

Columbus East High School student Gracie Marie Ogle went missing before East’s last class period that day. Her description is she is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 115 pounds, brown eyes and black hair with pink stripes.

She had a blue/white Vera Bradley backpack when she went missing. A reward has been posted for information leading to her whereabouts.

Columbus Police spokesman Skylar Berry said officers are following up on several tips, but the teen has not yet been located. Berry also said there is no indication at this point that she is in any immediate danger.
