Looking Back – Aug. 30

The handball courts at Lincoln Park started getting a new, bright look on Aug. 30, 1975. Columbus Regional Health’s Rehabilitation Centers in Columbus and Nashville were awarded Outcomes of Excellence Certificates from Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes. The certificate was awarded to only top rehabilitation facilities in the U.S.

A subsidiary of Bartholomew County REMC, BCREMC.com, struck a deal with Vectris Communications of Austin, Texas, to be the local provider of high-speed internet service over existing phone lines.
