MARENGO — Brown County coach Tony Bell took his team to the school where he coached from 2020-23 and came away with a 56-26 loss at Crawford County.
“This is a group of guys I coached their first two years,” Brown County coach Tony Bell said. “I knew they had it coming. I was just hoping it wasn’t tonight, but it was. We had no answer for their running game. We couldn’t stop them.”
The Eagles (0-2) trailed 38-20 at halftime. Quentin Bell threw first-half touchdown passes to Kyle Cobb, Colton Swisher and Preston McNeely.
Brown County’s final touchdown came on a pass from Jayden Manley to Ben Treacy.
