Olympians handle Lancers

Columbus East won close matches at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles Tuesday in a 4-1 boys tennis win against Edinburgh.

Trevor Ernst beat Bailey Totten 6-7 (2), 6-3, (10-8) at No. 1 singles, Kai Bergmann topped Raiden Stanley 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Landon Redelman defeated Braden Cox 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles for the Olympians (3-8). East’s Michael Reed and Micah Wettschurack beat Brinnyn Moss and Jayden Castillo 6-1, 7-6 (6) at No. 1 doubles.

The point for the Lancers (0-5) came at No. 2 doubles, where Jayson Music and Charlie Roberts blanked Leo Rivera and Hadley McQueary 6-0, 6-0.
