SCOTT COUNTY – Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews are scheduled to begin erosion control and bridge deck patching work on northbound and southbound I-65 today in Scott County.
Work will take place on I-65 between just north of Exit 29 near Scottsburg (MM 30) and just north of Exit 34 near Austin (MM 34) and is expected to take up to two weeks, weather permitting.
Intermittent single lane closures will be used Mondays through Thursdays from approximately 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on northbound and southbound I-65 while work is in progress.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
