AUSTIN — Hauser pulled out a pair of three-set wins Monday to claim a 3-2 boys tennis victory at Austin.
Joel Bechtel beat Aven Broadus 6-4, 7-6 (4) at No. 2 singles, and Graydon Kilps topped Cameron Watts 7-5, 1-6, 6-4 at No. 3 singles for the Jets (7-3). Kam Blair and RJ Foster defeated Cason Swank and Xander Richie 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (4) at No. 1 doubles.
Hauser’s James Oliver fell to Orlando Nease 7-6 (6), 6-2 at No. 1 singles. Curtis Kilps and Brady Miller lost to Isaiah Eversole an Kallen Boswell 5-7, 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
