BATESVILLE — Jennings County came close in the third set Thursday, but Batesville held on for a 25-12, 25-12, 29-27 volleyball win.
Lydia Martin led the Panthers (8-5) with eight digs and two aces. Sydney Kegley pounded 10 kills, and Kenna Sentz had two blocks.
Also for Jennings, Kaydence Lowman recorded six kills, one block and three digs, and Khylee Barlow pounded five kills. Kegley tallied two digs and one ace, and Stntz added two digs.
