MARENGO — South Decatur had trouble getting going offensively Friday and endured a 38-14 loss at Crawford County.
“They were physically bigger than we were,” South Decatur coach Rodney Martin said. “We fought hard, but ultimately, their size and physicality wore us down.”
Ryker Martin completed 8 of 18 passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns for the Cougars (1-3). Jayden Jackson-Ray had 130 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
Kaiden Asche ran for a 2-point conversion.
