Jets topple Lancers

EDINBURGH — Playing against Edinburgh for the second time in less than a week, Hauser coach Andy Kilps mixed up his lineup when the teams met again Monday.

Kilps moved No. 1 singles player James Oliver to No. 1 doubles and moved No. 2 singles player Joel Bechtel up to No. 1 singles. Bailey Totten beat Bechtel 2-6, 6-4, (10-7) at No, 1 singles for the Lancers (3-8, 1-3), but the Jets (10-3, 4-0) took the other four matches to claim a 4-1 Mid-Hoosier Conference boys tennis win.

Hauser’s Kam Blair topped Raiden Stanley 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, and RJ Foster defeated Braden Cox 6-2, 2-6, (10-7) at No. 3 singles. Oliver and Jackson York beat Brinnyn Moss and Jayden Castillo 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles, and Brady Miller and Jacob Bell topped Jayson Music and Charlie Roberts 6-4, 7-6 (5) at No. 2 doubles.
