HOPE — Brown County and Hauser split the first two sets Tuesday, but the Eagles took the final to to capture a 28-26, 22-25, 25-21, 25-15 volleyball victory.
Aubree Denton led the Eagles (5-6) with 10 kills, 12 assists and six aces. Emmersyn Oswald had five blocks, and Zoe Jackson notched 19 digs.
Also for Brown County, Ella Bartles tallied eight kills and two blocks, and Ella East added five kills, four blocks and five aces. Abe Sanders recorded six assists and three aces, Dylan Lucas had 11 digs and two aces and Makayla Shrader added 10 digs and three aces and .
Charleston Gelfius led the Jets (5-13) with 13 kills, one solo and two assist blocks and 22 digs. Leah Manley recorded 19 assists, and Kaysie Kistler served four aces.
Also for Hauser, Kaidenze Shoaf tallied six kills, one solo and one assist block and three aces, and Peyton Norris pounded three kills. Hayden Dickey posted three assists, 15 digs and and three aces; Kesie Shoaf had one assist block and Hope Bailey added 19 digs.
