COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Indiana Department of Environmental Management has forecast an Air Quality Action Day today and Thursday for southeast, southwest, and central/east Indiana regions.
Ozone levels are expected to be in the “unhealthy for sensitive groups” range for Columbus and Bartholomew County.
Continued unseasonably warm temperatures combined with low humidity, sunny skies and light wildfire smoke is expected to contribute to elevated ozone levels.
