SEYMOUR — Seymour won four matches in straight sets Thursday in handing Columbus East a 5-0 boys tennis defeat.
Trevor Ernst fell to Carter Stein 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Kai Bergmann lost to Dane Thompson 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Landon Redelman fell to Gus Henry 6-4, 1-6, (10-8) at No. 3 singles for the Olympians (4-16).
East’s Michael Reed and Micah Wettschrack lost to Shun Takeuchi and Braylon Busby 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles. Carson Hartsook and Cooper Harry fell to Max Payne and Gage Hillian 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
