Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. Superintendent John Quick announced his retirement after 25 years with the corporation, and 40 years in education. Quick had led BCSC for 13 full years.

Patrick F. Flynn, vice president of research at Cummins Inc., retired after 30 years with the company. Flynn joined Cummins in 1970 and was promoted several times before becoming vice president of research.
1975
The South Central Indiana Chapter of the National Association of Accountants (NAA) placed 15th out of more than 100 national chapters in the Warner Division of the NAA. Chapter members were awarded a banner during their monthly meeting at the Holiday Inn.
