SEYMOUR — Trinity Lutheran won the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles matches Tuesday, but Austin took the other three to post a 3-2 boys tennis victory.
Daniel Naewedde beat Xander Richie 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles for the Cougars (10-6). Jonathan Naewedde and Reed Roeder topped Carson Swank and Isaiah Eversole 6-3, 6-1 a No. 1 doubles.
Trinity’s Zach Lister fell to Orlando Nease 6-0, 7-6 at No. 2 singles, and Adam Alberring lost to Aven Broadus 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Luke Schepman and Ross Bevers fell to Cameron Watts and Kallen Boswell 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.
