WALDRON — South Decatur won the third set Tuesday, but Waldron finished off a 25-23, 25-21, 18-25, 26-24 Mid-Hoosier Conference volleyball victory.
Taylor Somers led the Cougars (7-7, 2-2) with 12 kills, 14 assists, three blocks and four aces. Liz Bennett had three blocks, and Dalilah Martin notched 23 digs.
Also for South Decatur, Martin tallied four kills, and Raegan Benge added three kills, 10 assists, one block and one ace. Kennedy Sundal recorded two assists and one block, Riley Benge had two assists, Somers posted 21 digs, Bennett had 18 digs and one ace, Martin served three aces and Raygan Harrison added one ace.
