BEDFORD — Jennings County pulled out a 3-2 win at Bedford North Lawrence Friday in a battle for fifth place in the boys tennis Hoosier Hills Conference Tournament.
Parker Bales blanked Jackson Corey 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles for the Olympians (8-10)/ Ty Zohrlaut and Luke Napier beat Micha Carter and Orion Hill 6-0, 6-7 (6), 6-3 at No. 1 doubles, and Asher Morin and Luke Clapp topped Neal Patel and Braxton Fugate 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
Jennings’ Colten Short fell to Asher Thompson 6-2, 7-5 at No. 2 singles, and Charlie Treadway lost to Aden Ralston 1-6, 6-1, 6-3 at No. 3 singles.
