Christian author to host book signing on Saturday

Christian author and contributing writer for “Chicken Soup for the Soul” William Clark will be at Ark Book & Gift, 2622 Eastbrook Plaza, on Oct. 4 for an annual book signing. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., he will be signing copies of his “Journey Home” trilogy as well as his other books and stories in “Chicken Soup for the Soul.”

Clark, a retired pastor, began writing in 2015. In that time, he has published eight books and has submitted multiple works for “Chicken Soup for the Soul.” He recently published the second edition of “A Light on the Path,” one of the novels in the “Journey Home” trilogy, which features new reviews, new pictures and an updated storyline.

His best seller is “A Walk on the Sunny Side Volumes 1 and 2.” This collection, which he published five years ago, consists of both fictional and nonfictional short stories, he said.

“It’s entertaining and all the stories are inspiration, humor and adventure, and it’s got two long adventure stories so it’s a full-sized book…,” Clark said.

Clark also began the nonprofit Books by William Clark, originally a branch of another nonprofit he started called Destination Ministries, after he retired. Books by William Clark has supported Pacific Garden Mission, the largest and oldest homeless mission in the nation, for ten years now.

He said he has held book signings in Indiana twice a year for 10 years now, as well as in Tennessee . This will be his fourth book signing in Columbus, he said.
