BEDFORD — Trinity Lutheran advanced to the Bedford North Lawrence Sectional final with a 3-2 win against Jennings County Thursday.
The Panthers (8-11) did, however, advance individuals in both singles and doubles. Jennings’ Parker Bales beat Jack Stuckwisch 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, and Ty Zohrlaut and Luke Napier topped Jonathan Naewedde and Reed Roeder 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles.
The Cougars’ Daniel Naewedde beat Colten Short 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, and Adam Alberring topped Lucius Stidham 6-0, 6-4 at No. 3 singles. Trinity’s Ross Bevers and Luke Schepman defeated Asher Morin and Charlie Treadway 6-4, 7-6 (5) at No. 2 doubles.
Trinity will play Seymour for the sectional title at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
