Nala Palooza — 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Mill Race Park, 50 Carl Miske Drive, Columbus. This dog-friendly event will include a bouncy house, dog demonstrations, vendors, games and food trucks. A Poker Run is scheduled from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Cost for the Poker Run is $20. Admission to the event is free. NAMI Family and Friends Seminar — 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., United Way Building, 1531 13th St., Columbus. NAMI South Central Indiana, the local organization of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, will hold a free seminar that informs and supports people who have loved ones with a mental health condition. Participants learn about diagnoses, treatment, recovery, communication strategies, crisis preparation and NAMI resources. Lunch provided. Saturday Storytime — 11 to 11:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Celebrate fall and the crisp cool air with a storytime on the library patio and stick around for cookies and a craft. This program will move indoors in the event of rain.

Fourth Annual “Chicken Soup for the Soul” Book Signing — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Ark Book & Gift, 2622 Eastbrook Plaza, Columbus. William Clark, Christian author and contributing writer to “Chicken Soup for the Soul,” will be signing his Journey Home Trilogy. Books by William Clark is a nonprofit that helps support the largest and oldest homeless mission in the nation, Pacific Garden Mission.

Corn Maze Beer Fest 2025 — 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., 450 North Brewing Company, 8111 E. County Road 450N, Columbus. The festival will feature over 110 of the best breweries and distilleries from around the country, live music and local food trucks. This year’s theme is Haunted Halloween. For ages 21-and-up only. Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser — noon, The Brick, 309 Walnut St., Jonesville. Hosted by Thrive Alliance, this double elimination tournament will raise funds for Adult Guardianship programs. Cars for Cops Car Show — noon to 4 p.m., RLC Truck & Auto Accessories, 4515 Progress Drive, Columbus. Support Columbus North High School student Jackson Brewer’s senior project and the Columbus Police Department during the car show, which will include classics to modern day models, as well as food and drinks, family-friendly activities and music. Entry to the show is free, but people are encouraged to donate by visiting gofundme.com/f/support-columbus-policejackson-brewers-senior-project. Proceeds will go towards the purchase of surveillance equipment for CPD’s intelligence unit.

The Disassemblers — 1 to 2 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Have you ever wondered what the inside of a computer looks like?
