Shari Lentz was named Indiana Voter Registration Employee of the Year during a statewide conference in Indianapolis. Lentz was judged against her peers across 92 Hoosier counties.

Columbus East earned a share of its fourth Hoosier Hills Conference girls soccer championship with a 2-1 overtime win against Jennings County. Senior Jaci DeVries scored the winning goal on a 25-yard shot and had an assist in celebrating senior night.
