Erik Hackman
Erik Hackman has joined The Republic as a reporter, assigned to cover Bartholomew County, courts and Flat Rock-Hawcreek School Corp., along with general assignments.
Hackman, who lives in Brownstown, previously was a reporter at the News and Tribune in Jeffersonville where he worked as a general assignment reporter.
He graduated in 2022 with a bachelor of science in multimedia journalism from Indiana University Southeast.
