The unCommon Cause fundraising gala celebrated its 40th anniversary with the theme of “Fabulous at Forty” at The Commons, which raised more than $82,000. A sold-out crowd of 325 people bought everything from donated sports packages to exotic getaways.

U.S. government officials Charles R. Aanenson, Col. Richard M. Lake and David D. Nelson visited Columbus during the 43rd annual Senior Seminar, the most advanced professional development program available to senior foreign policy and national security officials.

The first annual benefit ball for The Commons was held in Columbus, with the theme of “Yesterday’s Autumn.” Music was provided by Don Glassen and his Smooth as Glass Orchestra from Chicago.
