The 2025 veterans Day observance in Columbus will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

There will be patriotic music throughout the event which will be held at the Bartholomew County Memorial for Veterans on the south lawn of the Bartholomew County Courthouse.

This year’s keynote speaker will be John Conner, a West Point graduate and infantry leader in Vietnam.

The Gold Star Mothers, American Legion and VFW auxiliaries as well as the Daughters of the American Revolution will place wreaths at the Bartholomew County memorial for Veterans while music is supplied by the Southern Indiana Pipes and Drums.

The American Legion Post #24 will provide the three rifle volleys.

John Foster, a USAF veteran will be the Master of Ceremonies.

Limited seating will be available so attendees are encouraged to bring seating.

In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved to Columbus City Hall.
