Dr. Edward Probst, dermatologist at Probst, Scherer and Francoeur Dermatology Inc. in Columbus, was elected as president-elect of the Indiana State Medical Association.

The 1975 Bartholomew County United Way Fund Drive surpassed its $650,000 goal by collecting $671,328, which was 103% of the goal. The campaign was held from Oct. 1 through 21.
