The following Veterans Day closings have been announced.
- Columbus city offices will be closed Tuesday. All Columbus Department of Public Works curbside collections will be on schedule.
- The Columbus City Utilities Office will be closed on Tuesday. Regular business hours will resume on Wednesday at 7 a.m. Customers who have a problem with water or sewer service should call the business office at 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
- Bartholomew County offices and the courthouse are closed Tuesday.
- All Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle (BMV) branches will be closed on Tuesday. Branches will resume regularly scheduled business hours on Wednesday. For a complete list of branch locations and hours, to complete an online transaction, or to find a 24-hour BMV Connect kiosk, visit IN.gov/BMV.
- The Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management District Offices and Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center, 720 S. Mapleton St., will be closed on Tuesday.
