City officials approved an application for an event this Thursday that will bring more than 25 vendors to Fourth and Washington Streets, and encourage attendees to shop at nearby retailers.
Columbus Board of Public Works and Safety members Tuesday approved an application for First Thursdays: Night Market Edition, an Office of Downtown Development (ODD) event that will be today from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Fourth Street between Franklin and Jackson streets.
Aside from local vendors, it will feature late-night shopping at participating retailers, a luminary walk, a DJ outside Black Sheep, as well as a raffle where every $5 spent at particpating businesses goes towards a chance to win one of eight gift cards to local businesses.
Vendors include: The Nifty Beet, Blondies, Wild Wisdom, My Whole Kitchen, Sky Sports, Cookie Paradise, ODD Office, 4th Street Bar, Visionary Designs, AbFlo Creations, April May Jewelry Designs, Tessellate Society Apparel Co., Columbus Area Visitors Center, Crochet Kuma, Kelli’s Felt Kitchen, Sunshine Sue Doodle Designs, Purple Shamrock Farms, Traveling Apothecary, Gaine’s Creative Expressions, Reclaimed Lotus, Heritage Fund, and Beautifully Loved.
