Donner Swim Club participated in the 2025 Spooky Sprints Meet late last month. Seventy-six swimmers competed across individual and relay events, with 78% season-best times and 75% lifetime-best times.
Isaac Bingham, Amishi Kodesia, Pujya Nandana Nandipati, Skanda Harini Pinna and Xander Kendall competed in their first meet ever.
Anvi Athavale had lifetime bests in the 100-yard freestyle, 100 individual medley and 100 backstroke. Combined, she dropped over 37 seconds.
Ellery Barrett competed in her first ever 200 freestyle and had lifetime bests in all four of her events.
Emerson Barrett secured new Divisional cuts in the 100 freestyle and 200 freestyle, in addition to her 50 backstroke, 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke cuts. Additionally she had new best times in the 50 butterfly and 50 breaststroke.
Shinjan Bera got his first Divisional cut of the season in the 50 freestyle in his sweep of best times.
Isaac Bingham competed in his first meet, going 3 for 3 in lifetime bests in the 200 freestyle, 100 backstroke and 50 freestyle.
Reyansh Borole got a new best time in the 100 freestyle.
Tanay Brijpuria went 6 for 7 in lifetime bests, dropping over 25 seconds, and now is within five seconds of a Divisional cut in the 50 freestyle, 50 backstroke and 50 breaststroke.
Cooper Bringman secured new best times in five of his events, four of which are Divisional cuts he already had. His highlight of the meet was going sub-29 seconds in the 50 freestyle.
Ella Bringman also went lifetime best times and re-established Divisional cuts in the 200 IM, 50 backstroke, 50 butterfly and 50 freestyle.
Ian Bringman dropped time in all four of his events.
Kara Brinksneader dropped over 15 seconds of time in her 100 backstroke.
Anaya Chogale had a new best time in the 100 freestyle.
Calvin Clayborn dropped over 10 seconds in both the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke.
Arya Dayama had lifetime best times in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke.
Leo Erfmeier got his first Divisional cut of the season, dropping over three seconds in the 50 breaststroke. He also dropped over 33 seconds in his 100 freestyle and over 19 seconds in the 100 backstroke.
Dawson Force had four lifetime bests and secured a Divisional cut in the 50 Freestyle. He dropped over 27 seconds.
Kennedy Greer-Bos went 5 for 7 in lifetime bests and got new Divisional cuts in the 50 butterfly and 50 backstroke, as well as re-establishing her 100 butterfly cut.
Myra Jaryal dropped time in six events, re-secured her State cuts in the 200 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 50 backstroke, 50 butterfly and 50 freestyle and got three new State cuts in the 200 IM, 50 breaststroke and 100 butterfly.
Neil Johnson added the 100 butterfly to his list of Divisional cuts with a lifetime bests. He also dropped over three seconds in the 50 breaststroke.
Tanvi Kabra dropped over 21 seconds across her three new lifetime bests. She competed in the 100 freestyle, 50 backstroke and 100 IM.
Avleen Kaur had lifetime bests in the 50 backstroke, 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke.
Ravleen Kaur went 4 for 6 in lifetime bests, dropping over 20 seconds across all four events.
Jack Kendall had five out of six best times from the 100 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 50 freestyle, 100 backstroke and 50 breaststroke.
Xander Kendall competed in his first meet and went 6 for 6 in lifetime bests
Amishi Kodesia also competed in her first meet and had five out of seven lifetime bests.
Eshaa Kulkarni went 5 for 5 in lifetime best times, competing in the 100 freestyle, 50 backstroke, 50 freestyle,100 backstroke and 50 breaststroke.
Emily McIntier secured another Divisional cut in the 500 freestyle, dropping over 18 seconds from her previous best time.
Emily Meek dropped over 9 1/2 seconds in her 100 backstroke, gaining a new Divisional cut to accompany her other swims of the weekend.
Kashvi Mehta went 4 for 4 in lifetime bests and got Divisional cuts in the 50 freestyle and 50 breaststroke.
Camila Mejia Murguia had new bests in the 400 IM, 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly. She re-established those cuts, as well as the 100 freestyle, 200 backstroke and 200 IM.
Rebeca Mejia Murguia got a new best time in the 200 freestyle and re-secured her cuts in the 400 IM, 100 butterfly, 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 100 breaststroke and 200 butterfly.
Chacha Mugasa dropped over 15 seconds across his four new best times in the 100 freestyle, 100 IM, 50 freestyle and 50 breaststroke.
Robi Mugasa went 4 for 5 in new bests in the 100 freestyle, 50 backstroke, 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke.
Reed Murphy had 100% new best times in his events, which included the 100 freestyle, 50 Backstroke and 50 butterfly.
Pujya Nandana Nandipati competed in her first meet and went 2 for 2 in new best times.
Gunner Napier went 7 for 7 in personal bests and re-established his Divisional cuts in the 100 backstroke and 50 backstroke.
Karthik Nimmagadda secured new Divisional cuts in the 100 backstroke and 50 backstroke and had lifetime bests in his other five swims.
Misheeta Pal got new Divisional cuts in the 50 butterfly and 50 freestyle, re-established her 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke cuts and had lifetime bests in her other two events.
Chad Pendleton came within a few seconds of a State cut in the 50 backstroke and 50 butterfly, securing new Divisional cuts. He also re-established his State cuts in the 200 freestyle and 100 freestyle.
Josh Pendleton dropped time in three of his events, re-securing his Divisional cuts in the 100 backstroke, 100 butterfly and 100 freestyle and his State cut in the 500 freestyle.
John Pigman went 4 for 4 in lifetime bests, competing in the 100 freestyle, 50 backstroke, 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke.
Skanda Harini Pinna competed in her first swim meet and achieved lifetime bests in two of her events.
Cora Pitcher went 4 for 5 in lifetime bests across the 100 freestyle, 50 backstroke, 50 butterfly and 100 backstroke.
Chris Plunkett dropped over seven seconds and had 100% lifetime bests.
Noah Plunkett dropped time in five of his six events and is within five seconds of a Divisional cut in multiple events.
Owen Plunkett went 3 for 6 in best times, dropping over 16 seconds across the 50 freestyle, 100 backstroke and 50 breaststroke.
Abhyud Ponnathpur dropped over a minute and swam 100% lifetime best times. He secured his first Divisional cuts of the season in the 50 freestyle and 50 butterfly.
Aneesh Pradeep went 5 for 7 in lifetime bests, dropping over 58 seconds of time.
Addilyn Purvis had 100% personal bests in the 100 freestyle, 50 backstroke, 50 butterfly and 50 freestyle.
Eva Rayomand dropped time in four of her events, re-establishing her Divisional cuts in the 200 freestyle, 200 IM, 100 freestyle and 50 breaststroke.
Anna Reed had lifetime bests in the 50 backstroke and 50 freestyle.
Charlie Reed went 4 for 4 in personal bests and re-secured his 50 backstroke Divisional cut.
Courtland Reed dropped over 30 seconds of time, got new Divisional cuts in the 500 freestyle and 200 freestyle and re-established her 50 freestyle cut.
Cauā Roberto-Garros had six out of seven personal best times in the 200 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 50 backstroke, 100 IM, 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke.
Luiza Salomao went 4 for 7 in lifetime bests in the 200 IM, 50 FL, 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly.
Haley Schofield had 100% lifetime bests across all seven of her swims and dropped over 39 seconds.
Lily Schofield dropped over 96 seconds of time across all of her events including the 500 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 100 breaststroke and 200 IM.
Naira Shah went lifetime bests in all four of her events, including her first 200 freestyle.
Chloe Shuter also had lifetime bests in all five of her events. She competed in the 100 butterfly and 200 backstroke for the first time.
Lela Smith dropped over 4 1/2 seconds in the 100 backstroke.
Max Tempest re-secured Divisional cuts in all five of his events and is within a few seconds of State cuts in the 200 freestyle, 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke.
Arash Thokade dropped over 15 seconds and achieved a new State cut in the 200 freestyle, a new Divisional cut in the 50 breaststroke and re-established State cuts in the 200 IM, 50 backstroke, 50 butterfly, 50 freestyle, 100 butterfly and a Divisional cut in the 100 freestyle.
Ojas Utker achieved a new best time in the 100 freestyle.
Thomas Wang went 3 for 3 in lifetime bests in the 100 freestyle, 50 backstroke and 100 IM.
Ellie Winters dropped over eight seconds in the 50 backstroke, 100 IM and 50 breaststroke.
Xavier Zhang re-secured Divisional cuts in all seven of his swims, along with lifetime bests in the 500 freestyle and 50 freestyle.
Donner Swim Club will compete next when it hosts its Veterans Day Pentathlon.
