MISHAWAKA — Bethel jumped out to a 27-12 lead after one quarter Wednesday and went on to hand IU Columbus a 93-57 women’s basketball defeat.
Abby Fleetwood led the Crimson Pride (0-5) with 18 points and four assists. Morgan Montgomery had nine points and seven rebounds, and Amaya Collins added seven points and three steals. Emma Beaver, a freshman from Columbus North, came off the bench to grab six rebounds.
IUC will visit Georgetown (Kentucky) Thursday. The next home game is Dec. 15 against Alice Lloyd.
